Reuters Starts Fact-Checking Initiative, Joins Facebook’s Third-Party Program

Reuters kicked off a new fact-checking initiative Wednesday, and
the multimedia news giant also became part of Facebook’s
third-party fact-checking program. The publisher said its new
fact-checking initiative will help assess the authenticity of
user-generated content on social platforms–including photos,
videos, headlines and other content–in the run-up to the 2020
presidential election in the U.S….
